Alex started his career in trade marketing at Japan Tobacco International for duty free sales. While at JTI, he was responsible for sales management, distribution oversight, TTL marketing strategies, and succesfully implementing merchandising and promotional programs in the duty free sectors of Russia, Central Asia and Mongolia. In 2010, he managed duty free trade for JTI’s Russian and the Baltic State markets, and in 2012, he was appointed head of the trade marketing team in the CIS, where he was responsible for executing succesful business and strategic relations with key customers in region’s duty free. In 2014 Alex became National Key Account Manager in Russia, where he was responsible for executing succesful business and strategic relations with national key accounts in Russia and local accounts in Moscow, Central Russia and North West. Recent period of his career was to lead sales teams in Central, Eastern Europe, Nordics and former CIS duty free. Alex graduated with honors from the National University of Food Technologies with a degree in Business Economics.
